Apple’s subscription magazine and news support Apple News Plus could reach 19 million paid subscribers by 2023, according to an analyst.
Investment lender Cowen analyst Krish Sankar considers Apple News Plus had roughly 11 million paid subscribers in 2020, generating earnings of roughly $550 million.
Moving ahead, Sankar considers that Apple News Plus could reach 19 million readers by 2023.
That may rake in $1.14 billion in subscription revenue and $1.02 billion in electronic advertising revenue from advertising impressions, leading to a total of $2.2 billion, accounts Apple Insider.
“We consider Apple’s News program and the News Plus paid subscription support (News stage ) are well-positioned to not just gain from incremental subscriber developments but also hastening advertising earnings growth,” Sankar wrote.
The analyst believes Apple News Plus might be bolstered by improving advertising platforms along with a change away from the Identifier for Advertisers monitoring tag used on cellular devices following the launch of Program Tracking Transparency.
The privacy feature, Sankar adds, can be a”tumultuous event” that levels the playing area for advertising networks in the iOS ecosystem, ” the report stated.
The analyst adds that Apple’s advertising jobs might be on an inviting trajectory due to the maturation of Apple Search Advertisements (ASA) on the App Store.
Apple Implementing ASA and the current modifications to IDFA could hasten advertisement revenue from Apple News from the next several years.
