Canon Announces EOS R3 Pro Mirrorless Camera in Evolution

Last month Nikon announced the evolution of its own highest-end mirrorless camera thus far, and Canon has reacted with the statement of the EOS R3, which should add a similar bracket. The R3 is still in evolution and details are somewhat thin, but it is apparent that it will be positioned over the EOS R5, which is now Canon’s flagship mirrorless camera.

Much like Nikon’s forthcoming Z9, the EOS R3 appears like a hefty camera using a built-in vertical grip for shooting in landscape and portrait orientations. Your human body design and control design are broadly like this EOS-1D X Mark III, Canon’s highest-end specialist DSLR, and also the body features water and dust resistance.

Canon states that the EOS R3 is going to probably be the first camera to utilize a fresh 35mm full-frame piled CMOS detector with backside lighting, and its own picture processor and the digital shutter will allow for 30fps shooting AF and AE monitoring. It is the first digital camera in the firm with eye-control AF, along with a deep-learning algorithm was used to boost recognition of individual subjects from the chest upward, which is believed to assist its functionality in challenging situations such as sports photography.

That is about it for information out of Canon; the firm has not given any detailed specs, let alone a cost or a launch date. But collectively with Nikon’s Z9 and Sony’s brand new A1, the expert mirrorless camera wars have been heating up and also the EOS R3’s name suggests Canon might have something much higher-end from the pipeline.
