iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, Once More Rumored To Feature Thinner Bezels

The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max (possibly named iPhone 15 Ultra when officially launched) were earlier rumored to sport thinner bezels the size of an Apple Watch. The tipster who provided the information has checked in with his sources, and even they appear to be in agreement with his previous assessment. This may suggest that Apple will reduce the overall footprint of its upcoming premium iPhones while offering the same display size.

Sources have little to no information on the curved bezels of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max

To recap, ShrimpApple Pro on Twitter published a series of tweets on January 21, talking about the iPhone 15’s and iPhone 15 Pro’s design changes. The top-tier models were said to tout thinner bezels, along with curved edges and a flat display. He also stated in those tweets that the largest model, named the iPhone 15 Pro Max or the iPhone 15 Ultra, was said to be ‘very beautiful,’ with the design change said to mimic the Apple Watch.

The tipster apparently has multiple sources who agree with him on the ‘thinner bezels’ part but have little clue about the curved bezels. Fortunately, ShrimpApplePro states that they are in the month of February, so more information will likely become available in the coming months. Foxconn was earlier reported to commence a trial production run of the iPhone 15 series in the first quarter of 2023.

Though the actual mass production run will not start until the first half of 2023, the trial production run may offer valuable insight into what design changes Apple intends to bring to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. These two models are said to offer more exclusive features than the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max from last year. One of the rumored highlights is a brand new display from Samsung called M13, which may be the reason the newer iPhones attain those thinner bezels.

Other changes include a titanium chassis and the inclusion of solid state buttons, both of which will set an example of how the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will differ from their less expensive cousins. We look forward to more information dropping in the next few days, and like always, we will update our readers accordingly.
