Tim Cook Says he’s Never Spoken to Elon Musk but has Great Respect for Tesla and their Lead in Electrical Vehicles

In a Brand New interview with Kara Swisher about the Sway podcast, Apple CEO Tim Cook Handles the Forthcoming Litigation with Epic Games, the controversy Within iOS 14.5’s Program Tracking Transparency Coverages, and Much More.

In relation to Apple’s curiosity about self-driving automobiles and autonomous driving,” Swisher inquires to Cook exactly what he thinks of Elon Musk. Cook explained that he has great respect for Tesla, although he’s never spoken to Elon Musk himself.

In the conclusion of this past year, Elon Musk tweeted he had attempted to market Tesla into Apple several years back and Cook would not even have a meeting. Swisher pressed Cook with this claim.

At the moment, it appeared Apple had gone head-first into designing automobile components such as door frames, drive trains, as well as steering wheels with the view to start an autonomous consumer car under the codename Project Titan. But after a year or two, it had been reported that the job was scaled back, and Apple was focusing on autonomous driving technologies.

More recently, rumors have sparked that Apple is actively creating a real automobile again, using vague hints that the automobile could introduction in 2025, presumably comprising the self-driving attributes it’s been operating on.
