Wipro to Obtain Australia-Based Ampion for About $117 Million

Ampion was formed via the merger of Australia-based IT services suppliers ‘Revolution IT’ and ‘Shelde’. Ampion yearly sales run rate for the year ended 30 June was $85.5 million, of which approximately 12 percent was associated with merchandise sales. IT major Wipro Ltd on Thursday said it has signed an agreement to obtain Ampion, an Australia-based supplier of cybersecurity, DevOps, and technology solutions, for $117 million.
